Mainstream Democrats love this country and love this city. Mainstream Democrats do not hate capitalist or wealth creators or Wall street or employers. Mainstream Democrats do not want to chase all the businesses out of the city. Mainstream Democrats respect the rights of middle-class families of every stripe, race, creed or persuasion to live their lives as they see fit as long as they are respectful of the rights of others. Mainstream Democrats do not seek to dictate that every must think and speak in exactly the same woke fashion at all times or be canceled. Mainstream Democrats appreciate that the State of Israel is a friend of this City and this Country and will not stand silent while Socialists make antisemitic attacks. Mainstream Democrats recognize that raising taxes on employers and on middle class families in the name of equity costs our City jobs vitality and talent. Mainstream Democrat are in the mainstream. They do not advocate violence or resistance or defunding the police. They are not advocates for releasing violent predicate felons to prey on our communities. Neither do they find terms like Mother highly offensive.

Instead, Mainstream Democrats are focused like a laser beam on delivering on quality-of-life promises, safe streets and good schools and a healthy growing economy that promotes growth and opportunity for our fellow New Yorkers from every walk of life. Mainstream Democrats are tired of radical Socialists who have commandeered the public debate and infiltrated and hijacked the party partly by intimidation and thinly veiled threats of violence or discord.
